Against all odds, an African filmmaker decides to make a film in the UK. In that film, Simon, a mysterious Nigerian man, returns to London one year after his sudden death. Simon wants to make amends with his former lover who felt betrayed when he killed himself with no explanation. But, inevitably, the realities of British and European politics come back to haunt the lovers and to disrupt the African filmmaker in his project.


Writer/Director Biography

Kivu Ruhorahoza is a Rwandan award-winning filmmaker. Kivu’s work has been officially screened at top international A-List festivals including Sundance,TriBeCa, Sydney, Rotterdam, Warsaw, Melbourne,Rio and renowned museums and venues such as the Tate Modern (as part of Olafur Eliasson's Little Sun project), the MoMA, the BFI Southbank. Kivu Ruhorahoza's films include the features Things of the Aimless Wanderer (official Sundance 2015 selection), Grey Matter (official TriBeCa 2011 selection in Competition) and numerous award-winning short films both as a director and producer for other filmmakers.
